Quick, Quick, The Meaning Of Life Discovered!

What Is The Meaning of Life Quick, Quick, The Meaning Of Life Discovered!
There once was a little boy whose mom told him the key to life was happiness. When he was in school one day the teacher asked the students to write down what they wanted to be when they grew up. Some kids wrote down Fireman or Policeman, some Actors, others Lawyers or Astronauts but he wrote, “When I grow up I want to be Happy”. The Teacher told him he didn’t understand the assignment. He told her she didn’t understand life.

Every now and again I find myself listening or reading people’s opinions and debates about the meaning of life, the purpose…it’s bound to happen, specially if you interact a lot with intellectuals, curious minds or enjoy reading about the history of philosophy. It must be one of the oldest questions in existence, in fact it quite possibly played a role in the creation of religions; “Why are we here?”, “What are we meant to do in this life? I feel lost”, “Where do we come from?”, “What makes me so deserving to have been born? is this life like a qualification test to be considered for a job after death? follow the 10 commanding sinless instructions and I’m accepted or punished?”.

I can’t help but laugh sometimes, asking “Why am I alive?” seems like a question coming from those who are bored with life, the miracle of life with all it’s beauty and interesting things isn’t enough and we want more?. Do you ever go to the doctor and say; “Doctor, why am I healthy?”, or do you only go you’re sick?. “Why am I alive?”.

tunnel to hell SIN Stands for: Self Imposed Nonsense

What do you think Hell is like?

The Devils Welcome

Imagine walking through clouds of smoke to arrive at these rusty old gates, at the top in letters of nail scratches of desperation, it reads: “Leave all hope behind, ye who enter” (in five thousand languages), instead of feeling fear you feel relieved, “hope only gave me a moral responsibility…without hope I have no duties to fulfill my future dreams and therefore no work and nothing to be gained from this experience other than personal amusement…and if I gain nothing I can only loose what my sinful soul brings”.
As you hesitantly enter through the squeaking gates, you look down to the ground to see if it really is true what they say about Hell being paved with good intentions but all you see is pee and poo from the shock of the nervous newcomers who came before you…trying to avoid stepping on the filth you notice Brussel Sprouts growing in between, “so this is where they grow…no wonder they taste so bad!” you think out loud.Slowly approaching the light at the end of the tunnel-like cavern, your body is taken over by this uncontrollably catchy rhythm you soon realize is ‘The Macarena’ being looped over and over again eternally.

Fear is a Religion on its own…

fear Fear is a Religion on its own...

Fear brings the need to hold on to something for hope, religions offer that hope…the more someone believes in a religion blindly, the less they will think for themselves, the less they think for themselves, the dumber they’ll become, they dumber they are, the easier it will be to manipulate them, the easier they are to be manipulated, the more they will be taken advantage of, the more there taken advantage of, the poorer they’ll be and the wealthier the rich will get, wealth will give the power to the rich to keep the poorer on a tighter leash…Still wondering why poor countries are the most religious of them all?

He did turn water into wine didn’t he? someone who finds no need for any type of liquid to hydrate themselves other the wine must be considered to have a problem under the Alcoholics Anonymous guidelines =S.
Just a few days ago as I was sitting on my throne of thought (the toilet), opening pages at random of my book of wisdom (old Oxford 1978 pocket size edition dictionary)…one word stood out above all others, not because it was special in itself but together with the word underneath it created a whole new concept…the word was “Catholics” and beneath it laid “Cattle” =D.
